Mysteries of the World - The Almas

With Lenticular Photo Picture

The Almas is a „bigfoot-like“ creature, a crossing between a human and an ape, who is supposed to be domiciled in Mongolia. It is said that the Almas are able to reach a height of about two meters and have eye-catching long arms. The lore says that the Almas are very shy, nocturnal and are very fast. These are the reasons why they are very rarely sighted.

One of the first reports on the sighting of this creature originates from the year 1420. It was a German who rerecorded his observations during a Mongolian journey. The indigenous people referred to the Almas as “wild men”. As from then many cryptozoologists have searched for Almas but other than a few footprints and fur tufts have not yet found any proof of the existence of this shy creature.

Till this day the Almas are mystical beings. Do they really exist or is the „ape man“ a speculation in the human mind for those who believe in them?

We have sighted him on our coin. The Almas coin presents a special feature. It has lenticular images, which artfully produce the effect of an animation. With a glance through the binocular and a horizontal fluctuation of the coin one can discover an Almas. Can YOU also see him?
