Space-Time Continuum and Murrine Millefiori win first place in «Original Technology» and «People’s Choice»

On September 22nd, 2016, the international commemorative coin contest «Coin Constellation» celebrated its tenth anniversary with the award ceremony for the 2015 nominees in Moscow.

CIT is no newcomer to Coin Constellation having been awarded multiple times in the past, most recently in 2014 with a double award for the extraordinary Crying Wolf in the categories «Original Technology» and «Coin of the Year».

This year, CIT is proud to have once again won the judges vote with two first place coins in the categories «Original Technology» and «People’s Choice». As a company that strives to pioneer and values innovation, the former award is especially gratifying and encourages CIT on its quest for new and unusual coin designs. Winning the people’s choice award is equally important as it confirms that the final products are valued and appreciated by customers and private collectors.

The field of contestants was very competitive with 240 commemorative coins and 21 series submitted by 44 participants from 29 countries. A 40-member jury, including experts from world famous museums and auctions, representatives of coin distributors, numismatic associations and specialised periodicals, determined the winners and runner-ups in 9 categories.
