CIT at Liechtenstein’s LIHGA Trade Fair 2018

LIHGA is the Liechtenstein trade and industry fair, which takes place every two years and hosts over 200 exhibitors. The popular trade show is open to the public and up to 50’000 visitors stroll past the booths during the week-long event. From August 31st to September 8th, CIT proudly presented the latest outstanding coin designs to a diverse audience. A small silver medal, specifically developed to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Principality of Liechtenstein, was presented to children visiting the booth and might even encourage a few youngsters to discover more about modern and traditional numismatics in the future.  The medals larger cousin, struck in proof quality from a half ounce of fine silver was developed for LIHGA’s guests of honor, as well as leaders in politics, trade and economics. Michael Vogt, president of CIT’s supervisory board attended the opening ceremony to present the first medal to Liechtenstein’s Prime Minister, Adrian Hasler.

Unquestionably, the highlight of CIT’s first LIHGA attendance and an honorable experience for the CIT team was the visit of HSH The Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein and HRH The Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein at the CIT booth. Michael Vogt and Johann Berner were proud to present each with a precious silver medal in a customized one-of-a-kind case.
