The immensely popular Mongolian Wildlife Protection series started in 2007 with the then revolutionary and innovative Gulo Gulo coin. Three years later, CIT presented the successor Ural Owl and subsequent issues have been launched annually ever since. The frontal portrait in an antique finish relief and the piercing crystal eyes have become the trademark of the collection.
